Work where you matter.**You Belong at Avera:** Competitive pay, various shifts to fit your lifestyle and opportunities for career growth.**Avera is currently seeking Physical Therapist-Outpatient (PT) looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.****_Position Highlights:_**+ **Provide treatment to patients as they come for outpatient services in the therapy department.**+ **Able to work in a variety of areas including acute care, TCU/LTC, swingbed, pediatrics, outpatient adult.**+ **This position will be working in both Miller and Pierre**+ Avera St. Mary’s Named Top 20 Rural Community Hospitals ( Summary**+ Responsible for administering the application of Physical Therapy treatments through supervision, instruction and actual patient treatment.+ Anatomy, physiology and physical science and their applications to specialized techniques in evaluation and treatment of patients.+ Awareness of relative value and limitations of each piece of equipment.+ Clear understanding of indications and contraindications of various treatment modalities.**Education and/or Experience**+ Graduate of CAPTE approved School of Physical Therapy.+ Continuing education program credits are preferred.**Licensure/Certification/Registration**+ Physical Therapy license in the state of South Dakota required.+ BLS Certification required.**Work Schedule**+ Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; PRN**Pay**The hourly range for this position is listed below.
