American Tombow is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Digital Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in communicating our brand message through high-quality visual assets across digital platforms.
This is a hybrid position that requires the candidate to be local to our office in Suwanee, Georgia. Employees will have the flexibility to work from home two days a week (Wednesday & Friday) while collaborating in-office for the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Design & Execution: Conceptualize and produce creative materials, following the direction set by the Chief Marketing Director & Creative Manager.
Digital Marketing Materials: Develop graphics for:
- Monthly Sales Promotions: Work with Communications and Marketing Specialist, e-commerce team, and creative team to create graphics for multiple monthly promotions for both B2B and D2C channels. The designer ensures every promotion maintains a consistent brand identity while leveraging best practices for layout, typography, and imagery.
- Product Launches & Promotions: Support Creative Manager to spearhead and craft solutions for new designs for brand campaigns and marketing initiatives for new products.
- Web Page & A+ Content: Collaborate closely with the Creative Manager and e-commerce team to concept new web page designs and A+ content on Tombow’s website and various online marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Faire, etc.).
- Email Campaigns: Build a comprehensive email graphic library to support product education, email flows and campaigns. Develop responsive and user-friendly email templates, craft layouts that drive engagement and conversions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to corporate brand guidelines, as well as American Tombow’s subsidiary digital brand standards.
Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with the marketing team to understand project goals and provide design guidance to maintain visual appeal and brand alignment.
Design Expertise: Use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to produce high-quality designs and stay updated with industry design trends and best practices.
Cross-Functional Communication: Participate in meetings with the Sales, E-commerce, and Marketing teams to provide creative insights and updates on projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience in digital design, preferably within a marketing or advertising agency environment.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Adobe Express is a plus but not required.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in digital marketing materials, including website designs, email campaigns, social media graphics, and other digital assets.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web publishing.
- Basic photography and/or videography skills.
- Illustration experience.
- Experience in the Art & Craft or Office Products industry.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position that requires the candidate to be local to our office in Suwanee, Georgia . Employees will have the flexibility to work from home two days a week (Wednesday & Friday) while collaborating in-office for the remaining days.
