Acquisition Specialist to join our team in support of our client in
St. Inigoes, MD.
Duties & Responsibilities:Performs tasks related to acquisition management support including:
- Provide support to CORs/ACORs in the tracking of post-award TO actions, including preparing and drafting documentation per prescribed DoD, Command and Contracting Activity formats and standards for new procurements and modifications (large and small).
- Execute tasking in accordance with acquisition policy.
- Provide detailed financial analysis related to contract ceiling, funding, and execution at the lowest SLIN level.
- Review and track Technical Direction Letter (TDL)s and facilitate the process in coordination with the COR/ACOR
- Perform detailed data analysis in support of incremental funding actions from cradle to grave and provide real-time status updates throughout the process.
- Meet and exceed deadlines to ensure actions are completed within Procurement Administration Action Lead Time (PALT).
- Proactively communicate with division stakeholders to ensure process lead times are followed.
- Analyze financial performance against plan to identify trends and address anomalies.
- Coordinate with division Business Financial Managers (BFMs) on the allocation of funds committed to service contracts.
- Coordinate with CORs and PMs on management of contract administrative data.
- Facilitate and support meetings with interrelated division stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:- Secret Clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Three (3) years of experience
- At least two (2) years of project management experience required. Demonstrated ability to initiate and plan projects and generate analytics tools, processes, deliverables, direct execution, and collaborate with customers and staff.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must work well independently
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and must provide customer service both internally and externally.

Education Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree or a qualifying substitution
Education Substitution:- No degree plus six (6) years of additional work experience related to the applicable labor categories; required experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree;
- Associates degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the applicable labor categories; required experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
