Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute is seeking applicants for Director of the Benign Hematology Program in the Hematology and Medical Oncology Department. The Benign Hematology Program has a well-established track record of outstanding patient care, innovative clinical trials, and important translational research. The Director will be responsible for ensuring superior quality care and for the recruitment and mentoring of junior faculty.
This individual will also collaborate with translational and basic scientists to develop innovative clinical and translational research projects designed to improve the health of patients with benign blood disorders. The Program Leader will effectively articulate the goals, direction, mission, critical issues, and values of Cleveland Clinic to the associates and employees who work within the Benign Hematology Program, the Northeast Ohio hematology community, and referring and affiliated physicians. The Director will also be offered commensurate faculty appointment at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
The successful candidate should be board certified or eligible in Hematology and hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Ohio. An excellent salary and benefit package is available.
