Responsibilities:- Facilitate technical and/or sales training including installation, controls, commissioning, service, troubleshooting, product, and basic applications
- Work with subject matter experts to develop curriculum as required
- Leading the development of technical training programs, including curriculum and corresponding training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, videos, and manuals
- Prepare training facility and lab prior to training classes
- Maintain training facility standards, including equipment and tools
- Provide training support, including communication, promotion and coordination of product and technical training
- Acts as a liaison between sales, product marketing, service, and training
- Assist at educational or industry conferences; ability to present at conferences
- Audit technical trainers 1&2 and experienced independent trainers.
Requirements:- HVAC degree or certification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field, preferred
- 8+ years of experience with HVAC installation, commissioning, service and maintenance; 5+ years facilitating product and technical training
- Position requires up to 75% more of travel
- Experience training in the technical service field
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of HVAC products and controls
- Proven track record of success in service and customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to interact with students of varied backgrounds
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, students and customers
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and develop course curriculum
- Customer focus - proactively finds ways to exceed customer needs; Detail-oriented, well organized
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment and take initiative individually
