This is an Onsite-Hybrid Position
EM Key Solutions seeks a Graphics/Multimedia Analyst with an active Public Trust clearance to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information & Technology (OIT) Office of Communications (O.C.) in accomplishing its communication mission and objectives.
Duties:- Develop graphics, infographics, charts, and related materials that support the Office of Communications messaging and needs.
- Verify that all developed communications align with OIT Communications branding, standards, templates, and existing documentation.
- Ensures and verifies the alignment with V.A. and OIT brand standards.
- Verifies the alignment and accessibility of newly created graphics or visual presentations adhering to BOTH accessibility guidelines and Sections 504 and 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Remediates existing visual content and artifacts to align with BOTH accessibility guidelines and Sections 504 and 508 of the ADA.
- Create, modify, or edit documentation graphics for briefings, status reports, project management plans, staffing and security status, and data reports.
- Apply a variety of frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) to support project management, schedule management, scope management, and requirements management, depending on the type of effort.
- Report progress towards goals and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:- 10+ Years of direct experience with strategic marketing and public relations graphical and multimedia-accessible content.
- 10+ years of direct experience developing and remediating digital communication products to be accessible to all audiences.
- 5+ Years of experience in the full breadth of communications functions, including strategy, visuals/graphic design, branding, text-based communication products and messaging, employee communication, and web-based communication channels.
- Understanding of technical, health, and I.T. concepts with the ability to communicate them to a layman's audience in an accessible, graphical interface.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, graphic arts, public relations, or a related field.
- Able to work onsite at V.A. HQ as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with key functions and offices at the V.A.
- Prior VA Communications experience.
- Sample portfolio of accessible graphic and multimedia products.
- Experience with DHS Trusted Trusted Tester Process & Certification Program.
Clearance:Active Public Trust; interim clearance is acceptable. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
