Monument Internal Medicine is located on the campus of Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital on Richmond's west side. Due to a retirement, we're bringing on a new Internal Medicine Physician MD/DO to start as early as December 2024 - or as soon as credentialing is completed.
- Our patient panel is widely diverse, age 18 and up, 50% adult/50% geriatric
- We're located on the bus line and within 15 min of VCU, Carytown, University of Richmond, Short Pump, downtown Richmond and many restaurants and amenities
- The provider team is seeking a physician with at least one year of practice experience ideally, but newly graduated Residents are welcome to apply.
- Applicants must have completed a U.S.-based Internal Medicine Residency, be Board Certified or Board Eligible through ABMS/ABIM and be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S.
- Practice Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 100% outpatient - no hospital responsibility
- After hours Call Rotation: 1 day per week, rotating every 4th or 5th weekend with 3 other providers
- 1 MD - 2 NP currently - adding one MD
- EPIC EMR, MyChart for telemedicine and e-visits
- 18-22 patients per day after ramp up period
- POC, A1c, Glucose, UA, Strep, Pregnancy and Flu testing in office
- Lab and imaging located in the building, Nurse Navigator off site
- 1:1 support from dedicated CMA/LPN, LPN team lead and PSR's in practice
- Must be skilled and comfortable with chronic disease management, well visits and acute care
- In- office procedures are minimal - may include joint injections, basic women's health
