The Opportunity

LG Ad Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Data Visualization Manager. The role will be responsible for leading a team of Data Visualization professionals to develop and manage data-driven solutions that optimize advertising performance, inform strategic decisions, and drive business growth. This role involves overseeing the creation of data models, dashboards, and reports, as well as guiding data analysis efforts to extract actionable insights. The BI Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Ad Operations, Product, Marketing, and Data Engineering, to ensure that data is leveraged effectively across the organization.

Responsibilities

Data Modeling and Architecture
  • Design and implement data models that support reporting and analytics needs with an emphasis on AdTech and Ad Operations.
  • Optimize and maintain existing data warehouses and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and performance.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to integrate new data sources and ensure data integrity.

Reporting and Visualization
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insights into key metrics, including advertising performance, revenue trends, and financial forecasts.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders, ensuring that reports are both accurate and user-friendly.
  • Automate regular reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

Data Analysis and Insights
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization within AdOps.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making, including campaign performance reviews, ROI analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with business goals.

Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with Ad Operations, Product, Finance, and Marketing teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring that data solutions meet the needs of the organization.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.

Continuous Improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools, technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve reporting and analysis capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data processes, including improving data quality, streamlining ETL pipelines, and optimizing data storage.

Data Governance and Compliance
  • Ensure that data handling and reporting processes comply with relevant data protection regulations and internal governance policies.
  • Implement and maintain data security best practices to protect sensitive financial and advertising data.
Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or Data Engineering role, preferably within the AdTech or Finance industry.
  • Strong experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
  • Expertise in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, forecasting, and revenue analysis in the AdTech domain.

Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of AdTech industry metrics and financial principles.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and related data sources.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and revenue recognition principles in the AdTech space.
  • Hands-on experience working with Databricks
