Essential Responsibilities:

This is not all-inclusive, and the Marketing Strategist will need to proactively adapt to meet changing business conditions. It is imperative the Marketing Strategist thrives in dynamic environments, is intellectually curious, radiates a 'can do' attitude and consistently takes proactive initiative to seize opportunity and mitigate risks.

Digital Marketing Excellence: Work with the VP of Marketing to transform our online presence on our sites and with key channel partners, becoming the category thought leader and increasing the accessibility and timeliness of product information to customers.
  • Drive best-in-class marketing effectiveness through content marketing strategy and campaigns across various channels - including SEO, email marketing, and organic/paid social media.
  • Establish messaging focused on brands and segments to build brand awareness, audience engagement, and ultimately increase sales conversion.
  • Analyze website and campaign performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven strategies to enhance user experience and maximize revenue generation.
  • Drive marketing automation initiatives: Establish pre-sale drip campaigns to guide prospects down the funnel, as well as create value for existing customers with post-sale campaigns that increase repurchases and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Collaborate with key dealer partners, understanding their business and helping drive lead conversion by increasing data optimization and supporting their web strategies.

Analytical Excellence: Help to lead efforts in market and pricing intelligence, product data strategies, and refine customer segmentation.
  • Market intelligence: Create & maintain market overviews, competitive analyses, and competitive pricing data to ensure a clear and honest understanding of RSG's position, allowing for data-driven decisions that make us better and faster.
  • Improve customer segmentation, analyzing historical performance and market data to create clear, marketable segments and personas to increase marketing effectiveness.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor activities and industry trends to proactively identify growth opportunities and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Create & maintain standard reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies.
