JOB SUMMARY :
Assists individuals with adopting Angels as part of the Christmas Angel Tree Program; provides information and answers questions regarding adoption of Angels; prepares and maintains accurate records related to the Angel Tree adoption and gift process.

Provides information and answers questions regarding adoption of Angels
Provides prompt and courteous service to all individuals.
Prepares and maintains accurate records related to the Angel Tree adoption and gift process.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES :
Performs other related work as required.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT: General Office Equipment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
High School diploma or G.E.D.
or
Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: None.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge and demonstrated skill in customer service practices.
Knowledge of effective and efficient record keeping.
Ability to maintain an efficient and organized filing system.
Ability to maintain the confidential nature of the work.
Ability to follow instructions, plan and organize work, and work under limited supervision.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically.
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail with constant breaks in concentration associated with answering questions or speaking to individuals requiring assistance.
Ability to perform all duties with an understanding of the mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, and protocol of The Salvation Army and conducts all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism.
Duties are usually performed seated, but may require walking, standing, lifting and carrying.
Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed indoors where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
