Printpack's manufacturing plant in Elgin, IL is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Laminator Assistant position for 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am, M-F).Additional $2.50/hr premium for NIGHT shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.Key Responsibilities:Ensure your own safety while assisting in the operation of the machine operationsPrepare printed rolls for lamination (primary unwind)Prepare back stock rolls for lamination (secondary unwind)Place rolls in machine and prepare for splicing (both unwinds)Assist in removing rolls from rewindRemove and weigh startup rolls at beginning of jobClean NIP roll in machine during setup and downtime to prepare for startupPerform daily housekeepingRemove and weigh waste from all unwinds or rewind, if necessaryMinimum Requirements:1 year of experience as a Laminator Operator / Assistant preferredPrevious manufacturing experience preferredAbility to read a tape measure and possess basic computer skillEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledPrintpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
