Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Charting System EPIC Unit Notes Department: Med Surg Certifications: BLS - Beds: 42 - Ratios: 1:5-6 - How often are staff taking a 1:6 ratio?: At least once a week - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Medical, surgical, and orthopedics - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes - Any titratable drips?: NO, except Heparin - RT available and what equipment? (has only worked with RT doing all setup): RT is 24 hours on the floor - Tele on the floor at all, central tele (any monitor techs)?: Yes Tele's on the floor, but we have a centralized Tele station. - Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios?
