Jefferson Health is seeking a Colorectal Surgeon to join a collegial, well-established general, Colorectal practice at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery.

- Join 3 established surgeons all covering general surgery along with 6 APPs
- Ability to take general surgery call and EGS call split between the group
- Be a part of a high-quality academic and clinical program
The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible colon and rectal surgeon trained to diagnose and treat various disease processes of the colon, rectum, anal canal, and perianal region both medically and surgically. Has expertise to diagnose and manage anorectal disease in the office setting. Will perform endoscopic procedures to evaluate and diagnose cancer of the intestinal tract, polyps and inflammatory conditions of the large intestine. Will contribute to tumor board cancer conference and participate as a cancer committee member.
Qualifications
- Must have an MD/DO degree, as well as be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Surgery or the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery
- Must possess a license or be eligible to practice medicine in Pennsylvania by the time the appointment starts.
- Must have an active DEA license, as well as be BLS and ACLS certified
- Candidates with a proven track record of academic achievement will be given priority
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
- Demonstrated professional competence and integrity and ethical conduct of practice
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and effective conflict resolution skills
- Patient-focused and committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care and service to all patients
- Strong computer skills and EMR knowledge
