Purpose of the Job: Provide assistance to the operation of the Quality Control Department: relating to a wide variety of custom parts through incoming inspections and data collection of product and associated components and procedures.
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QC Inspector to join our team. The QC Inspector will report to the Quality Supervisor.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Must be knowledgeable and exhibit proficiency in the use of mechanical inspection measuring tools such as but not limited to micrometers, verniers, pin gages, thread gages and height gages, vision system.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Experience with electronic ERP system usage.
- Be proficient in mathematics as it relates to the inspection function.
- Coordinate collection of supplier documentation such as: Certificates of Conformance, flowdown requirement evidence.
- Facilitate and maintain the necessary records to ensure compliance to the calibration process.
- Conduct inspection on incoming materials such as injected molded parts, sheet metal, PCB, intricate machined parts and electrical components.
- Must be certified to or have good working knowledge of IPC standard 610 and J-Std-001 or be willing to complete certification within first year of employment.
- Maintain the non-conforming material process.
- Will aid in company inventory counting when called upon.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements: - High school diploma
- 3-5 years of experience in a quality-related role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be a US person (US Citizen or legal Permanent Resident)

Pay Range: $20 - $23 per hour
