Groupe Lebel is in constant growth; Bois Daaquam, Daaquam Lumber Maine, Lebel Cambium, IB EWP, Les Bois Lemelin, Bois de sciage Lafontaine, and Plaster Rock Lumber Corporation are all companies that have joined Groupe Lebel over time, making it so that today, 25 sites are part of the family business.
Furthermore, Groupe Lebel is one of the main lumber manufacturers in Eastern Canada. The company, which is constantly evolving, is investing massively to improve its plants, notably with cutting-edge technology that increases efficacy, health and safety, and worker efficiency.
Global Mission of the Position
Reporting to the President and CEO of Groupe Lebel, you will be responsible for:
Structuring, planning, and supervising operations to optimize the use of resources (production, forestry, labor, and suppliers).
Defining the objectives and actions required to succeed in line with the company's values, policies, and procedures.
Drawing up the annual operating budget, measuring its attainment, and making any necessary adjustments to meet it.
Mobilizing and coaching teams.
Coordinating and measuring compliance with current legislation on health and safety, insurance, and the environment.
Collaborating with the existing team on financial and administrative controls.
Overseeing hiring and training requirements.
Any other related tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in management or equivalent.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of a sawmill and/or forestry is an asset.
Bilingualism is an asset, but not required.
