ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• sandblaster is responsible for preparing and operating sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or shape surfaces by directing a stream of abrasive material, typically sand, under high pressure.

• Their duties include setting up and maintaining the equipment, selecting the appropriate abrasives for the job, ensuring safety protocols are followed to protect themselves and others from dust and debris, and inspecting the surface before and after blasting to ensure it meets the required specifications.

• Additionally, they may be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the work area and properly disposing of used materials.

• Follow company procedures and directives.

• Test finished products for defects.

• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• MUST have minimum of 1 year experience with Industrial Sandblasting
• Strong work ethics

• Strong knowledge in using power tools

• Always possess a safety mindset

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Safety Equipment - Steel Toe Shoes or Boot required, long pants
