Trinity Rail Maintenance Services is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Production Scheduler in our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility!Join our team today and be a part of Delivering Goods for the Good of All!What you'll do:Build integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics and outside suppliersFocus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basisPromote alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the maintenance repair shopDetermine car requirements and coordinate the efficient movement of production and engineeringCoordinate information and activities with other team membersMay coordinate or exchange information with third parties, vendors, or customersLead technical and mechanical reviews with Operations, Safety, Welding, Quality to analyze and develop optimal process instructionsDevelop and conduct reports, manage meetings, and support the railcar maintenanceCollaborate with Lean and Continuous Improvement teams at plants during Kaizen events or Value Stream mapping activitiesCollect, compile, and present railcar maintenance progress and status report on a daily basis, or as requestedRequired to provide support during peak fulfillment periods to meet corporate financial targetsResponsible for ensuring inventory & material controls are in place and executed per the planOther duties as assignedWhat you'll need:Bachelor's degree preferred with one year experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience 9 years of manufacturing experience without degreeIntermediate to advanced computer skillsOutstanding interpersonal skillsAbility to work with many levels within the organization
