Our expectations:
The Inventory Control Assistant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the continuous inventory system by producing and generating various reports and investigating inventory adjustments. This position is a key go-to for store operations and works with a high level of autonomy. Your role:
Generate and analyze various reports such as sales margin analysis, purchase order activity, and check out error records
Enter and adjust store use inventory, cycle counting batches, and other inventory-related data
Conduct price override adjustments
Collect, receive authorization, input, and file SIU forms
Investigate scanning issues and review generic (dump) SKUs and invoices
Investigate miscellaneous data integrity issues as they arise
Troubleshoot IT issues with store operations
The qualifications we are looking for:
Ability to maintain accurate data integrity
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Proficient computer skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and provide support to other team members
Excellent listening and communication skills
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
Prior retail, warehouse receiving, and logistic experience an asset
