Job Title: Order Entry Representative
Job Description
We are currently seeking an Order Entry Representative to join our team. Following the recent implementation of Oracle as our new ERP system, we have encountered an increased workload and longer processing times for customer service requests. To keep up with the current demand and streamline our processes, we need an additional team member to assist with customer inquiries and order entries.
Responsibilities
+ Handle all customer inquiries through the ERP system, email, and inbound phone calls.
+ Enter orders (Service Requests) into Oracle.
+ Verify that orders (Service Requests) are accurately reflected in both the Oracle and old systems.
+ Ensure order information is accurate in Oracle, including quantity, PO number, part number, and billing/shipping addresses.
Essential Skills
+ Data entry proficiency.
+ High attention to detail.
+ High school education or GED.
+ Previous experience working in an administrative capacity.
+ Good communication skills.
+ Positive attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Order entry experience is a plus.
+ ERP experience is a plus.
+ Must have a good reference from recent employment.
Work Environment
The position operates within standard business hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The work environment is business casual. Team members may be required to fill in for the receptionist during their vacation periods. The team consists of six members, fostering a supportive and collaborative culture. This long-term contract assignment offers a great opportunity to get a foot in the door, with potential for full-time employment opportunities as they become available.
