Job Specific Duties - Order Intake: Receive meal orders from hospital staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dietary restrictions.
- Dietary Assistance: Provide information and guidance to patients regarding their dietary options and restrictions.
- Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the hospital menu and dietary guidelines to assist with meal selection.
- Customer Service: Offer friendly and courteous assistance to hospital staff and patients, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Communication: Coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of meal orders and dietary preferences for each patient.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Assist with special projects, events, and additional tasks as needed to support the overall operations and goals of the hospital caf and broader hospital community.
What you will need - Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and requirements, with the ability to provide accurate information and guidance to patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order intake and documentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in healthcare or nutrition is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with hospital staff to ensure patient satisfaction.
