Specific Responsibilities:
n
Lead teams on commercial projects with the purpose of Installing heating and air conditioning systems, ductwork, etc...
n
Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment.
n
Perform installations to meet our company standards and exceed our customer's expectations.
n
Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition.
n
Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required.
n
Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions.
n
Position Skills & Ability Requirements:
n
Must be forward-thinking and show good problem-solving skills, coordinate with supervisors or others when obstacles are encountered on the job site
n
Must be able to read, interpret, and lay out mechanical systems as shown on blueprints or shop drawings.
n
Must have knowledge of both high and low voltage wiring
n
Must have knowledge of local code requirements
n
Must be able to design, layout, measure, & assemble ductwork to allow for efficient & productive installation of HVAC systems.
n
Must be proficient in piping work, brazing, threading, and laying out piping systems.
n
Ability to manage, plan, coordinate, & lead a team doing multiple different tasks to achieve short-term & long-term goals.
n
Able to lift up to 50 lbs., and work from 12' & extension ladders, as well as rooftops.
n
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
n
Excellent communication skills with the customer, and supervisor.
n
Professional appearance and personality.
n
Qualifications:
n
High School graduate or equivalent.
n
Minimum of 3 years of Commercial HVAC installation experience.
n
Must have personal tools required to complete the job and be willing to purchase tools as needed.
n
EPA refrigerant handling certification.
n
OSHA 10 certification
n
Valid State Driver's License & clean driving record.
n
