Loan Processor I Salary Range
  • $19.06 - $20.31
Loan Processor I Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receives indirect lending application from dealership and correctly enters appropriate information into lending software within a specified period of time; requests credit report and enters NADA values as necessary and submits to underwriter for lending decision, if required.
  • After loan decision is made by the underwriter, provides dealer with a loan decision response to include approved rate, dollar amount, term and any other requirements of the loan and transmits to dealer within a specified period of time.
  • Follows up on incomplete applications in a specified period of time to ensure timely processing of loan applications.
  • Determines SCCU membership eligibility requirements and opens new SCCU membership accounts.
  • Accurately processes indirect lending adverse action letters and promptly mails to members in order to communicate loan refusal decision and reasons within a specified period of time.
  • Opens automobile dealership reserve accounts by entering dealer information into Spectrum application in order to ensure that dealer reserve account information is recorded.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls regarding indirect loans from dealers, members and other SCCU Team Members.
  • Examines indirect loan packages received from the dealer to ensure that the documents submitted meet the standards SCCU has established for completeness and accuracy, prior to issuance of the loan proceeds to the dealer.
  • Communicates to dealers any deficiencies identified in the indirect loan documentation within a specified period of time, following loan approval and prior to closing, to ensure that missing documents are submitted and/or that corrections to documents are completed. Continues to follow up on missing, incomplete or incorrect information within specified timeframes until the loan package is complete and the loan can be disbursed.
  • Follows up with dealers on approved indirect loans where the loan package has not been received within a specified period of time. Cancels pending approved loans that do not disburse after 30 days.
  • Disburses indirect loans by way of check or ACH origination within a specified period of time of receiving a completed package.
  • Maintains accurate dealer reserve account information by researching early paid-off indirect loans, posting necessary adjustments, and comparing the monthly dealer reserve statements to the monthly activity reports in order to achieve a correct balance and ensure that proper payments and credits are applied. Mails monthly reserve statement and pays dealer reserve fees by a specific time each month.
Loan Processor I Minimum Qualification
  • Six (6) months customer service experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
Schedule
  • Full Time Monday - Friday 7:00am - 7pm , Rotating Saturdays 9am - 3pm
