POSITION SUMMARY:
n
Person in this position will be responsible for the general transportation needs of the agency. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.
n
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
n

Transportation of participants to appropriate Community Based Providers.
n n- n
Maintain log for vehicle service.
n n- n
Maintenance daily of vehicles used for participant transportation.
n n- n
Maintain log sheet of participant transportations.
n n- n
Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; and

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
n
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
n
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
n
n- n
Possession of a valid Class “C” Driver’s License, although a Class “B” is preferred.
n n- n
CPR Certification, First Aid Certification
n n- n
Must have the ability to obtain CDCR Prison Clearance.
n n- n
Ability to pass a criminal history investigation; and
n n- n
Must be able to qualify for WestCare vehicle insurance.
n n- n
During your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.

Work is primarily performed by transporting participants from correctional facilities to Community Based Providers.

Transportation of participants in company vehicle; and

Some outdoor activities may be required.
