Essential Job Functions include those listed below.nnESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:nnMaintenance:nnPerform routine inspections of the facility and address maintenance needs.nnConduct repairs and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other building systems.nnExecute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of equipment and systems.nnRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.nnJanitorial Services:nnClean and sanitize designated areas, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and shared spaces.nnEmpty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.nnMaintain cleanliness following established standards and protocols.nnMonitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.nnGroundskeeping :nnMaintain the exterior grounds, including lawns, walkways, and parking lots.nnPerform landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, and planting as needed.nnMonitor and address issues related to irrigation systems.nnEnsure that outdoor areas are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained.nnSafety and Compliance:nnAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure environment for all occupants.nnIdentify potential hazards and take corrective actions.nnMaintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.nnRecord Keeping:nnKeep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and cleaning schedules.nnProvide regular updates on the status of ongoing projects and maintenance tasks.nnMust Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation andnnPerform all other duties as assigned.nnQualificationsnnESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:nnTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.nnExperience and Competencies:nnProven experience in maintenance, janitorial services, and grounds keeping .nnBasic plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance knowledge.nnAbility to operate maintenance equipment and tools.nnStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.nnPhysical stamina and the ability to lift/move heavy objects.nnExcellent time management and organizational skills.nnKnowledge of safety regulations and the ability to implement them effectively.nnAdherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct, especially to standards governing confidentiality.nnProfessional appearance and demeanor.nnBilingual preferred.nnMust be culturally/linguistically sensitive to the populations served.nnValid driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCare’s vehicle insurance is required.nnMust be able to obtain and maintain background clearance.nnDuring your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.nnCPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test.nnEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:nnA High School diploma or its equivalent is required.nnLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:nnNot applicable for this position.nnWORKING CONDITIONS:nnWork is performed in a combination of an office and outdoor setting.
