Successful candidate will complete a general knowledge placement test with a satisfactory score.nnJob Description:nnResponsibilities:nnObserve mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.nnDismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.nnExamines the form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.nnInspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.nnAdjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.nnRepairs or replaces defective parts.nnInstalls special functional and structural parts in devices.nnLubricates and cleans parts.nnStarts devices to test their performance.nnSets up and operates drill presses, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.nnResponsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the department lead/supervisor.nnMust work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient mannernnCommunicate well with other team membersnnAssist other departments as assigned by the lead, supervisor, or manager.nnMust follow the Company’s GMPs, SOPs, plant rules, other policies, and codes of conduct.nnMust be able to follow written and oral instructionsnnStrive to satisfy the requirements of both internal and external customers.nnResponsible for keeping the work area cleannnOther duties as assigned.nnQualifications:nnHigh School diploma or GEDnnComputer literate to completing of daily work within a CMMS system.nnIndustrial maintenance experience preferrednnStrong knowledge of basic industrial mechanical systems, electricity, and utilitiesnnAbility to diagnose industrial mechanical systems, equipment, and utilities problemsnnStrong knowledge of shop equipment setup and operationnnStrong TIG or stick welding experiencennAttend required vendor training as needednnRATE OF PAY:nnHourly rate TBD (depending on experience)nnThe position has the opportunity to receive step increases through Boar’s Head established training programs.nnLocation:New Castle, INnnTime Type:Full timennDepartment:Facility Maintenance 1st Shift
