Here, you will be part of a collaborative and inclusive environment where your skills will help drive flawless operations and support groundbreaking scientific advancements.nnKey Responsibilities:nnPerform all actions related to the preventive maintenance program of the CompanynnIntervene in production issues related to mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenancennPerform tooling changes, machine setups, and make in-process adjustmentsnnRebuild, calibrate, and configure sealing components and controlsnnDocument clear and detailed information regarding machine downtime, repairs, and critical process controlsnnAssist with start-up and shutdown of machinesnnEngage in continuous improvement projectsnnParticipate in equipment installationnnTest equipment to ensure efficiency and performance needs are met.nnMaintain, repair, and rebuild various production machines and equipmentnnFollow all safety and cGMP requirementsnnMinimum Requirements:nnPost-secondary education degree with a combination of 2+ years of experience, or 4+ years of experience within a related fieldnnProficiency in mechanical tasksnnAbility to diagnose and repair a wide variety of equipment based on industrial process controls and pneumatics - PLC Programmable Logic Controllers, reed switches, valves, relays, temperature controllers, and solenoidsnnUnderstanding and performing LOTO proceduresnnStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesnnStrong communication skills in both written and verbal formsnnBasic math skillsnnAbility to follow complex proceduresnnThermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
