Job Description

Our client is looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to support RCE Initiatives (Risk, Controls, Enhancements)


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with work stream leads and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and identify learning needs.
  • Create and implement a portfolio of risk and control development solutions that provide significant benefits.
  • Set the standard for innovative learning design, ensuring solutions are relevant, fresh, and engaging across various digital learning mediums.
  • Oversee learning project plans through the ADDIE life cycle, taking initiative to conceptualize and lead experimental projects with guidance from leaders and experts.
  • Continuously assess programs against expectations and processes, recommending and implementing changes to drive efficiencies and tighter integration with other workstreams and programs.


Qualifications:

  • Program design and development, including assessment strategies, instructional design, adult learning approaches, audience analysis, and outcome measurement.
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Authoring tools, particularly Articulate Storyline Suite.
  • PowerPoint presentation construction.
  • Facilitator and instructor guide creation.
  • Ability to work effectively both as a team member and as an independent L&D consultant.
  • Strong consulting, influence, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Program and project management skills.
  • Ability to form strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Cutting-edge knowledge of best practices in learning asset design.
  • Experience designing eLearning programs and learning assets in a digital environment that generate engagement.
  • Experience consulting with internal clients to identify needs and translate them into solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in an educational, corporate training, or professional services environment, preferably in a compliance or risk and controls space within a GSIP financial institution.
  • Experience in vendor sourcing and management.
  • Experience in instructional design for both eLearning and classroom settings.
  • Previous experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
