Medical Director – Clinical Research

San Diego, CA

This person will be #2 in the Company reporting directly to the CEO and has a clear (and short) pathway to Chief Medical Officer.

Retained client needs a Medical Director who will have 3 primary responsibilities:

1. Clinical Research – as a Principal Investigator – hands on care for some active studies
2. Administrative – Manage the existing team of PIs
3. Strategic – be a member of the Executive Team and help to facilitate the growth of the company as they seek to triple in size over the next 4 years

The must-haves:

1. Previous clinical research experience as a PI
2. Leadership – managed a clinical research staff
3. Active Medical License to practice in CA
4. Commutable to San Diego, CA
