Join Our Aerospace Client’s Team as the Quality Engineering Manager!

We're seeking a Quality Engineering Manager who can inspire a team, streamline processes, and deliver exceptional products that exceed customer expectations.
As the QE Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our quality systems are robust, our team is highly skilled, and our products are second to none. This role oversees the people and processes that guarantee quality is embedded at every step of the value stream. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders—from suppliers to leadership—playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our quality engineering efforts.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a dynamic team of Quality Engineers supporting product development, production, and supplier quality.
- Set and track performance metrics aligned with organizational goals.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement—leveraging tools like 5-Whys, Pareto analysis, SPC, and more.
- Drive the implementation of effective corrective actions, ensuring high standards across the board.
- Cultivate strong relationships with production and engineering teams to solve problems and reduce rejections.
- Promote a "do it right the first time" attitude, ensuring quality is always top of mind.
- Interface with customers to resolve escalated quality issues and provide expert-level feedback.
- Present quality engineering updates and progress to leadership, influencing the path forward.
Who You Are:
- A natural leader who thrives on coaching and mentoring—you lead by example and inspire your team to reach their full potential.
- Skilled at creating and tracking metrics that drive real improvements in quality.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and systemized approaches to problem-solving and corrective actions.
- Comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment, with a deep commitment to continuous improvement.
- A clear communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive problem-solver, capable of independent judgment, particularly when it comes to ensuring product conformance.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering (preferably in aerospace).
- 3+ years of leadership experience in quality roles.
- ASQ certifications like CQE or CMQ/OE are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, SPC, root cause analysis, and corrective action systems.
