Job Purpose:
To ensure the seamless and efficient flow of materials within the production line by managing inventory levels, overseeing material supply, and maintaining data accuracy within the ERP system. This role is critical to optimizing production schedules and achieving operational efficiency by providing a steady and quality supply of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guarantee on-time, quality material delivery to support production needs, ensuring zero discrepancies within SAP and strict adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles for precise inventory traceability.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and receiving zones, creating an orderly and accessible space that enhances workflow.
- Oversee material distribution to production areas, following FIFO protocols to prevent bottlenecks. Ensure all packages are correctly labeled and maintain traceability throughout the workflow.
- Ensure all materials are accurately identified, tracked, and verified for quality before release for production.
- Manage SAP entries for inventory movement and ensure all material receipts are accurately logged in XPPS to support transparency and accuracy in reporting.
- Oversee warehouse team members, providing guidance and support to optimize time management and operational resources. Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of warehouse or materials management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with SAP and XPPS systems and skilled in material handling equipment operation.
- Additional training in inventory control, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) purchasing, or production scheduling is preferred.
