Our client in Tehama County, CA is in need of a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum assignment!

Job details:

• All aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients
• MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services
• Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments
• Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.
• Required Procedures: N/A. Bone Marrow Biopsies are referred to outside provider
• EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
• Support Staff: 1- clinic RN, 2-MAs, 2-front office clerks, 1-quality analyst/billing, and 3 infusions RNs.
• Reason for Coverage: Locums one year is up

Job Requirements:

• Board Certification Oncology AND Hematology preferred. Will consider Board Eligible. CAN accept providers boarded in Oncology OR Hematology.
• CA State License - REQUIRED
• Medical Oncology Fellowship -REQUIRED
• CA DEA, BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED during credentialing
• Malpractice Clean Preferred
• Must have FULL TIME availability REQUIRED (List at time of name clear)
