Job Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for responding to work orders, deliver and set-up of office equipment and furniture, and set-up and tear down of special events. The incumbent is expected to maintain a clean, safe work environment, and provide excellent customer service to all clients and employees.
Primary Duties

Retrieve and coordinate work orders, e.g., requests for office moves, excess furniture or appliance turn-ins, office furniture modifications, electronic waste (e-Waste) disposal, delivering office materials, etc., via computer (Outlook email) daily.
Responsible for picking up dumpsters and tri-walls of trash, unclassified and classified materials and sorting and disposal procedures.
Respond to work request for Special Events, such as delivering tables and chairs to arrange/set-up, tear down and return to storage as required.
Load and unload trucks of various sizes.
Additional Responsibilities
Inspect material received for quality and quantity according to packing slips and work orders.
Separate recyclable materials into established categories.
Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse workers.
Prepare pallets and tri-walls for shipments to area recycling vendors.
Become familiar with and follow NGA and DOD regulations.
Provide backup for mailroom, logistics, and security department as needed.
Potential to work nights and weekends, including over-time.
Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
High School diploma or state certified equivalent required.
1-2 years of direct experience required.
Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel required. Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR).
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required
Ability to obtain a Class B CDL preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be able to work with people internally and externally at all levels of an organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to become familiar with corporate specific programs and software.
Knowledge of electric pallet jack and forklifts.
Excellent customer service.
Punctual-on-time, ready to work at scheduled time.
