Siegwerk in Morganton, NC is looking add a Warehouse Technician to our team!
Job Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks; opens crates/containers and properly labels all products
• Scan and pick materials using hand held SAP scanner.
• Using company truck, transfers stock materials to/from various warehouse facilities
• Organizes, stores, retrieves inventory, conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas..
• Reads production schedule, customer order, shipping order, etc to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed. Fills requisitions or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes.
• May be responsible for inspecting incoming raw materials, associated paperwork and sampling products for evaluation.
• Uses computer to enter records. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Completes necessary paperwork (such as BOL, Packing list, Picking list, etc.)
• May be responsible for maintaining miscellaneous supply inventories (Fed-ex, UPS sample container) or records
• Ensures packing list matches bill of lading for accuracy
• Participates in inventory management - cycle counts, inventory verification. Reports inventory discrepancies
• Stops ink shipments if quality is in question.
• Maintains a neat clean and safe work environment
• Participate in department meetings regarding a variety of topics, i.e., safety, process improvement, plant operations
• Strictly adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies
• Other duties as assigned

• Must have valid driver's license
• Must be detail orientated
• Must take initiative
• Must have strong Forklift skills
