Become a cornerstone of merchandising at Rona! You will shape the customer experience by leading merchandising activities with precision and ensuring the optimal presentation of our products. You will also help create an inspiring work environment, train and motivate your teams, while optimizing operational processes.
Your role:
- Oversee in-store merchandising activities, projects, and services.
- Ensure a clean, safe, accessible, and appealing customer experience
- Collaborate with deployment teams, field operations, and store managers.
- Track priorities, deadlines, material needs, and project execution.
- Supervise merchandising team members, assign projects, and reallocate tasks as needed.
- Verify compliance with planograms and merchandising standards.
- Evaluate resets and maintain store merchandise.
- Identify and adapt merchandising needs specific to each store.
- Recruit, train, and develop merchandising team members.
- Manage performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions.
- Promote safety and maintenance standards in the store.
- Oversee adherence to loss prevention and security policies.
- Perform all other tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the store.
What we're looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in customer service/retail, or 1 year in a Rona store.
- 1 year of team management experience.
- 1 year of merchandising experience, with skills in reading planograms and setting up/taking down displays.
- Project management experience.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
- Experience operating motorized equipment, an asset
- Practical knowledge of basic hand tools, an asset
