We are hiring a Project Director, Digital Health in Toronto to support our growing dynamic team of health care professionals.
The Project Director, Digital Health is responsible for leading and managing large and complex multi-stakeholder projects. Our ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in project management frameworks and models, have experience working within the healthcare sector, will be organized and detail-oriented, will have excellent time management skills, and will be able to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Job Description Manages all aspects of assigned projects, including development of full-scale project plans, schedules, progress, budget, risk management, issue management, resource management, quality review/best practices, and evaluation framework.
Directs daily project activities, effectively communicates project expectations, and coordinates the work of the members of the project team to ensure activities meet or exceed needs and expectations.
Develops, tracks, and maintains project documentation during all stages of the project lifecycle.
Proactively identifies and manages changes to project scope and develops contingency plans as required.
Supports the leadership team in conducting stakeholder meetings and forums in order to solicit feedback, input, and expectations, and incorporates recommendations into project plans.
Champions a co-design approach to ensure the voices of clients, families, frontline staff, and partners drive projects from conception to completion.
Provides regular updates to the leadership and other stakeholders as required through project reports and presentations.
Qualifications 7+ years Project Management experience in healthcare.
Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Engineering, Health Care/Informatics, or Business Administration.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
Must have knowledge of Project Management methodologies and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
Conversant in various tools for project management, project planning, and time tracking, e.g., Primavera, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Visio, WBS Pro, and Eclipse.
Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies is an asset.
Proven ability to lead, plan, implement, and manage projects and initiatives in a healthcare setting.
