The Associate Vice President (AVP), Global Information Risk offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape our global Information Risk Management (IRM) practices. By heading the IRM methodology and reporting teams, this role is pivotal in advancing our mission to fortify our risk management framework. This position provides a chance to manage a diverse team, collaborate with key stakeholders, and drive strategic initiatives, all while growing your career in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Create and maintain methodologies supporting IRM, such as the Technology Risk and Cyber Framework and the Controls Testing Methodology.
Serve as SME and Content Manager for the Technology Risk Management Policy.
Lead the IRM Reporting capability, including dashboards and reports, for use by both 1st and 2nd line stakeholders and ultimately the Board of Directors.
Manage the annual audit of the IRM Controls Testing team.
Maintain and foster enduring relationships with internal stakeholders and peers.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of progressive and practical leadership in Risk Management; Technology Risk experience preferred.
Previous audit or 2nd line oversight and assurance experience.
Proven experience in building high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of relevant industry frameworks.
Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to influence peers and executives.
Proficiency in collaboration, problem-solving, and influencing key risk decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge of best practices in information risk management and prior leadership experience in the field.
Knowledge of regulatory environments.
Effective presentation and facilitation skills for all levels and audiences.
Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
