Job Title: OBGYN - 24-Hour Call Coverage (Temporary)
Location: Clinton, North Carolina
Dates Needed:
- October 25, 2024 (8:00 AM) - October 27, 2024 (8:00 AM)
- November 20, 2024 (8:00 AM) - November 22, 2024 (8:00 AM)
- December 1, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 2024 (24-Hour Call)
Incentive: $750 Daily Bonus for October Dates Only
Job Description:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OBGYN for 24-hour call coverage at Sampson Regional, NC. Providers will manage routine and emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and emergent GYN procedures. High-risk deliveries are transferred to New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley for NICU support.
Responsibilities:
- 24-hour call for deliveries (vaginal and C-sections)
- Round on patients in labor and postpartum units
- Available for emergent GYN procedures
- Average 27 deliveries per month, with around 11 C-sections
- Support from hospitalists, 24/7 on-call Anesthesiology, Radiology
- Provider must remain within 20 minutes of the hospital
Requirements:
- Active NC Medical License
- NC DEA License (with NC address)
- Credentialed with Medicare, NC Medicaid, PECOS
- Fully vaccinated
- No open or recent malpractice cases
- Case logs from the past 24 months (hospital records required)
- Prefer candidates within driving distance or capped travel expenses at $500
Hospital Amenities:
- Level 1 nursery
- High-risk transfers handled by nearby hospitals
- Provider housing available in hospital apartments
Travel & Compensation:
- Travel costs capped at $500 (airfare, mileage, rental, gas)
- All-inclusive rate with 4-6 gratis hours included preferred
- NPI number required in submission
