We are seeking a Safety Manager to join our team!
As the Safety Manager, you will lead the implementation of safety programs, ensure compliance with safety standards, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
Your focus will be on collaboration, engagement, and maintaining a positive safety culture.
Key Experience Needed: Safety Manager
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in occupational safety, with demonstrated experience in safety program implementation.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in leading safety training and managing safety audits.
- Strong business acumen
Position Responsibilities: Safety Manager
- Implement Safety Programs: Develop and execute our safety strategy, objectives, and training initiatives, ensuring ongoing improvement of the overall safety program.
- Oversee Safety KPIs: Monitor, analyze, and report on safety KPIs (e.g., incident rates, near misses, corrective actions) to drive continuous improvement and proactive risk mitigation.
- Conduct Safety Training & Meetings: Facilitate regular safety training and weekly meetings to reinforce safety protocols and awareness, as well as lead onboarding safety programs for new employees.
- Promote Collaboration: Partner with all departments and employees to foster a safety-first culture, engaging team members and managers in sustaining a safe work environment.
- Facilitate Safety Communication: Act as the primary contact for safety-related updates and information, ensuring effective dissemination of all safety communications.
- Manage Incident Records: Track and document incidents, near misses, and corrective actions, following up to ensure timely improvements in safety practices.
- Oversee Safety Equipment: Regularly assess the availability and condition of safety equipment, ensuring employees have the necessary tools for safe operations.
- Ensure Compliance & Conduct Audits: Manage compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations through audits, inspections, record-keeping, and reporting.
