Job Description

The Royal Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Dispatcher that plans, organizes, leads and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license, at least two years of dealer-level or large facility experience, post-secondary automotive training and a strong technical knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements and maintains an effective dispatch system
  • Schedules shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and technician skill level requires
  • Reviews job status frequently, logging status and reporting any change in time or cost estimates to the appropriate service advisor and/or customer
  • Ensures proper repair order documentation, I.e., complaint, cause and correction noted on every repair order
  • Prioritizes and controls all comebacks to ensure proper and prompt attention.
  • Ensures that technicians follow warranty material disposition procedures
  • Maintains timely and professional contact with service customers
  • Maintains an organized and up-to-date repair log
  • Maintains a clean work area and a professional appearance
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have at least two years of technical experience
  • Must be able to perform the physical duties associated with this position
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Post high school tech school or ASE certification desired
  • Must have an impressive work-ethic
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Must have an unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
