Position Overview:
The Automotive Service Dispatcher is a crucial role that ensures efficient workflow in the service department by coordinating and dispatching repair orders to the appropriate technicians. This role is essential for delivering prompt, high-quality service to our customers and maintaining Raceway Nissan's standard of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently dispatch service orders to technicians based on skill, availability, and priority
• Monitor repair progress to ensure timely completion and resolve delays
• Coordinate with the Service Advisors and Parts Department to ensure all necessary parts and tools are available for repairs
• Track and document the status of each vehicle and communicate updates to the Service Advisors
• Balance workload distribution among technicians for maximum efficiency
• Assist in scheduling and organizing the daily workload to meet customer demand
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to Raceway Nissan's protocols and standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical training in automotive repair a plus
• Proven experience as a service dispatcher, preferably in an automotive dealership environment
• Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and dealership operations
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with dealership management software (experience with Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK a plus)
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
