We have a rare opportunity for an inpatient child & adolescent psychiatrist with interest in autism and developmental disabilities. Bradley Hospital, a teaching hospital of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University has an exciting opportunity for a BC or BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Autism & Development Disability Inpatient Unit. The most comprehensive program of its kind and only 1 of 10 in the country, you will treat patients ages 5-18 with co-occurring autism and psychiatric disorders with referrals come from across the country.
About the job:
- Join a team of 6 other psychiatrists
- 19 Bed inpatient unit
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement medical plans
- Lead an interdisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, nurses, therapists, special education teachers, nutritionists, and Board Certified Behavioral Health Analysts (BCBA)
- Part of a continuum care program that includes inpatient, partial, residential, in home and outpatient services
- Average inpatient stay is 28 days
- Academic appointment to Brown University
- Call from home 9 weeknights/year
- 5 weekends per year inpatient rounding
