Scope of Role: Caring for inpatient Adult psychiatric patients which includes, completing admission and shift documentation, creating care plans, administering medications as ordered by the physician, de-escalation of patients in crisis, therapeutic communication, providing patient education and completing discharge documentation. Type of Service: Inpatient adult psychiatry: acute stabilization for patients experiencing a mental health crisis. Length of stay is 3 to 5 days.
