Senior Advisor, Network Security (Hybrid - Toronto, ON)
Are you an experienced network security professional passionate about building secure, resilient infrastructure? We're seeking a Senior Advisor, Network Security, to lead the development of our network security architecture, focusing on advanced security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and Zero Trust principles.
What You’ll Do:
- Architect and develop network security solutions that align with our organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Drive the adoption of security best practices and patterns to protect our networks and infrastructure.
- Design and manage network segmentation strategies in compliance with PCI DSS requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into our IT strategy, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Architect and configure advanced firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and encryption protocols for enhanced security.
- Lead Zero Trust initiatives, including implementing least privilege access, continuous monitoring, and real-time threat detection.
- Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across network security operations.
What You Bring:
- 12+ years of experience in information security with at least 7 years focused on network security.
- Strong background in security architecture, network security, regulatory compliance, and cloud security.
- Proven experience with Zero Trust models, including designing and implementing related security measures.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001.
- Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM, and encryption protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
