Job Requirements Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year Experience Traveler Experience: Unit Will Accept 1st Time Travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills Required: Vents, IV Start, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drains (EVD), ICP Monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Lumbar Drain experience Strong Neuro experience, MUST BE 2 YEARS, NO LESS Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty MUST have 2 YEARS in NEURO ICU, IF NOT PLEASE REDIRECT STRONG Neuro Critical Care Background, not just general ICU. If they do not have, PLEASE DO NOT SEND Schedule Information RATIOS: Ratios 2:1 (can flex up to 3:1 in high census and nurse must be comfortable with this if needed).
