Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Meditech EMR Analyst to join our client's healthcare IT team. This role is responsible for supporting, configuring and optimizing the MEDITECH Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to enhance clinical workflows and ensure efficient patient care. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with MEDITECH and a passion for improving healthcare technology.
Meditech EMR Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Configure, troubleshoot and maintain the MEDITECH EMR system to meet clinical and operational needs
  • Provide end-user support to clinicians and staff, addressing issues, answering questions and assisting with navigation through MEDITECH functionalities
  • Work closely with clinical and operational teams to understand workflows and optimize MEDITECH EMR configurations to enhance patient care and streamline processes
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency within the EMR system; generate and analyze reports to support clinical and administrative decisions
  • Participate in or lead projects related to EMR upgrades, module implementations and system updates
  • Maintain detailed records of system configurations, workflows and support procedures for future reference and compliance


Meditech EMR Analyst Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working with the MEDITECH EMR system, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of MEDITECH modules, EMR configuration and reporting tools. Proficiency in SQL or other data query languages is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting and system analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clinical staff and IT team members
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
