About the Role:

Lateral Link is assisting a prestigious law firm in Chicago with a search for a mid to senior-level Attorney for its Corporate Group. This is a unique opportunity to work in an established group that provides guidance on the full spectrum of transaction-related matters, including M&A, PE, general corporate counseling, and governance. Qualifications/Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate must have 2-8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as day-to-day corporate counseling matters in a law firm or in-house legal department setting . Ideal candidates must be comfortable having substantial responsibility on deals, drafting and negotiating complex documents, and interacting directly with clients. Candidates must have an active license to practice law in the U.S., and a law degree from a top 25 law school with excellent academic credentials is highly preferred .

Pay range and compensation package:

$260-$420K base, plus bonus and full benefits package.
