Job Description:

The Director of Hospitality will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the guest experience and service operations across our events and catering functions. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can inspire teams, ensure exceptional service delivery, and maintain strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with senior management, event planners, culinary teams, and service staff to create seamless, high-end hospitality experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all hospitality operations for large-scale events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social events
  • Develop and implement service standards and protocols that ensure consistently excellent guest experiences
  • Lead, train, and mentor the hospitality team, including event managers, service staff, and front-of-house personnel
  • Collaborate with the sales and culinary teams to design and execute tailored event experiences that meet client expectations
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any service-related issues promptly and professionally
  • Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for each event, coordinating scheduling and deployment of staff
  • Manage relationships with key clients, vendors, and partners to foster positive long-term relationships
  • Monitor and control budgets related to hospitality and service operations, ensuring cost efficiency
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in service offerings and event execution
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations, including food safety and alcohol service standards
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as needed


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in a senior hospitality leadership role (e.g. Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Catering, Director of Banquets, etc.), preferably within a high-volume catering, event, or hotel environment
  • Strong understanding of service operations in the catering and events industry
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate large teams
  • Outstanding communication and client management skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
