Job Description Summary :

Location: Oceanside, CA (100% onsite)

Schedule: Standard Office Hours

Duration: 8-Month Contract

We are looking for collaborative, motivated individuals with expertise in protein purification process development to join our pre-pivotal purification & pilot operations team. This position offers the chance to contribute to both early and late-stage protein molecule development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Execute assigned downstream purification tasks and projects.
• Analyze purification process data, prepare reports, and present findings; engage senior team members to discuss solutions.
• Share results, data analysis, and conclusions during group meetings.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and a team-focused, problem-solving approach.
• Maintain a commitment to safety in all work activities.

Qualifications :

• Familiarity with downstream techniques like centrifugation, chromatography, and filtration.
• Hands-on experience with AKTA systems, tangential flow filtration, and depth filtration is advantageous.
• Understanding of cGMPs, technology transfer, and bioprocess scale-up is a plus.
• Excellent technical writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
• Self-driven, well-organized, and curious with a passion for scientific exploration.

Education :

• AA/AS degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience, or
• BS/BE in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline, with 0-3 years of experience in purification techniques.
