Here, you will make an impact by:nnMaintaining a safe work environment and perform duties safely.nnTroubleshoot/Repair mechanical equipment and components such as: bearings, bushings, gear boxes, pump seals, clutches, brakes, drive components, valves, motors and couplings.nnTroubleshoot/Adjust mechanical equipment such as: hydraulic and pneumatic machinery and equipment, variable speed power transmission systems, conveyors, spraying systems and extruders.nnTroubleshoot control valves, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and pumps, and replace AC and DC drive, PLCs, and HMIsnnMaintaining a safe work environment and perform duties safely.nnYour Skills and Expertise : To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:nnRequired:nnHigh School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.nnPossess a two-year technical diploma/degree or higher in a Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or Maintenance discipline from an accredited institution OR possess a minimum of three (3) years’ maintenance experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.nnAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:nnDesired:nnFive (5) years’ experience of manufacturing, equipment installation and troubleshooting maintenance support.nnDocumented education, training, and industrial work experience.nnDirect experience with manufacturing equipment.nnProven skill level in working with original equipment manuals, prints, drawings, and charts.nnKnowledge and skills of mechanical concepts needed to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and electrical devices.nnThis position will require:nnWorking overtimennWeekend work.nnHoliday worknnWorking on-callnnWork location: Clinton, TNnnTravel: NonennRelocation Assistance: NAnnMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).nnPay Transparency:nnThe starting rate of pay for this position is $ 29.90/hr ., with the potential to reach $34.72/hr.
