Spherion Staffing is looking to fill several Production Operator positions in Beresford, SD. The Production Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production line runs smoothly, and maintaining product quality standards. Operators work in a fast-paced environment, performing tasks such as assembly, machine setup, equipment monitoring, quality control checks, and troubleshooting.
Pay $22-28/hour DOE
Responsibilities:
-Operate various production equipment including milk pasteurizers, separators, and reverse osmosis (RO) systems
-Maintain accurate records of milk processing equipment
-Operate Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems and monitor equipment washes
-Document accurately and fully on legal chart recordings and other production forms
-Collect and test product samples during production and making needed corrections to maintain quality
-Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed and report all findings to supervisor and maintenance
-Load out finished product onto bulk tankers
-Assist as needed with regulatory inspections
-Maintain and clean and safe work environment
-Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions
-Responsible for food safety
-All other duties as assigned
